As I was surfing the net checking out some new blogs and listening to some new voices I came across Monica Roberts and her blog page TransGriot. While strolling thru her post she hipped me to a dish I had only thought I had made up in my mind for the sheer and utter ridiculousness of it. I mean that of course in the best way, those of you who know me know I have a love affair with food. Almost nothing is off limits when it comes to me trying a new dish (except coconut crusted stuff…just can’t do it) but I digress.
The Turducken is exactly what it sounds like. A Boneless Turkey stuffed with a boneless duck stuffed with chicken and any empty spaces left over is stuffed with breadcrumb mixtures or sausage meat.
I know right! Now I know some of you might just roll your eyes and say “look at that greedy Gert with his fat booty” but I don’t care. In my minds eye I am sitting at a table with a Turducken. I also see Carla, Kyle, Lewis, and Deidre sitting at the table with me. Fat souls of the world unite!!!!!!!!!!
