Sleep finally came and took hold of me. I figured it would be a good time to catch a few ZZZ's

Then woke up and headed to the store for the election fixin's .

I got to my polling place about 10 minutes to 7am and there was already about 45 people in line. It was a little nippy but nobody seemed to care. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits and there was a lot of talk of getting to work when I get to work and I don't care how long we have to wait. It made me feel really good. At 7 they opened the doors and we headed inside the firehouse.

8 machines can make all the difference in the world. The line moved rather quickly and the only real exciment other than voting was when the firs alarm went off and a couple of people almost got taken out by Firemen sliding down the poles to get to the trucks.

All in all it was a rather quick process and i was back home with my feet up by 7:40 AM

Ok so I feel a little better about this picture. I have showered and brushed my teeth and even though my eyes are closed (its hard to keep my eyes open cause my smile is SOOOO big) I am awake and alert and ready to head out.


I arm myself with all the things I might need at my local polling place.

Happy 100th to me!

Sometime about the middle of October I realized that I was close to 100 post in just 3 months. Amazing for me considering that my last blog over on Yahoo 360 it took me a year to hit that number. So I knew I wanted the 100^th to be something special...but what?

Well it’s democracy in action. I have been trying to figure out what I want to do after the election and today I figured it out. I want to work on the election process. I have been watching all the stories on the long waits for voting and that is something in the 21^st century just should not exist.

5 to 8 hours to wait to vote? It should never be this way, and that is going to be my political project for 2009. Anyway Happy 100^th to me, 200^th coming soon!
