Sleep finally came and took hold of me. I figured it would be a good time to catch a few ZZZ's

Then woke up and headed to the store for the election fixin's .

I got to my polling place about 10 minutes to 7am and there was already about 45 people in line. It was a little nippy but nobody seemed to care. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits and there was a lot of talk of getting to work when I get to work and I don't care how long we have to wait. It made me feel really good. At 7 they opened the doors and we headed inside the firehouse.

8 machines can make all the difference in the world. The line moved rather quickly and the only real exciment other than voting was when the firs alarm went off and a couple of people almost got taken out by Firemen sliding down the poles to get to the trucks.

All in all it was a rather quick process and i was back home with my feet up by 7:40 AM

Ok so I feel a little better about this picture. I have showered and brushed my teeth and even though my eyes are closed (its hard to keep my eyes open cause my smile is SOOOO big) I am awake and alert and ready to head out.


I arm myself with all the things I might need at my local polling place.

First let me state i am extremly vain...I mean for real extremely VAIN. It is almost a sin how vain I am. But I decided to document this election day for myself and all of you out there. So understanding how vain I am (you think he is vain?) I am posting pictures as is...

I went to bed relativley early for me this evening as I knew today was going to be a long day, but i could only sleep a few hours. So here I am about 5:30 AM. I am waiting a hour to leave the house to head to the polls to vote.
