My girl Tina!! You know I am not a new Tina Fey fan I have been following 30 Rock since the first season long before anyone ever heard of "Sarah Palin". Well every dark cloud has a silver lining and the barracuda from Alaska put Tina on the national stage. Tina Fey Golden Globe best actress of the year!

Is there such a thing as the Black Crusaders?

So as usual Elizabeth Hasselbeck was continuing to tote the party line on “The View” today. But that was not the news that I bring you today.

I wonder if maybe Tine Fey was on to something. In one of the first season episodes of “30 Rock” there is a story of show clown “Tracy Jordan” (played by real clown Tracy Morgan) going on the run from the “Black Crusaders”. The crusaders are a cabal of powerful black Americans that don’t take kindly to black people embarrassing the race in public.


Has life imitated art? Was Tina and company unknowingly onto something? Because it seems as though someone hemmed Sherri up in a corner somewhere and took her “out to the woodshed.” Now I am not saying she is a changed woman, but I am saying for the first time that I can remember she is involved and engaged in the conversation. She seems to be making sense and arguing her case. Could this be the beginning of a newer brighter Sherri Shepherd????

Tina Fey was born and raised in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. She is an actor, comedian, and writer and is best known for eight year stint on Saturday Night Live spending part of the time as the first female head writer.

I have to admit that I have not watched Saturday Night live regularly since Eddie Murphy left the show. I had seen Tina Fey occasionally on those few times I had flashed by SNL on Saturdays bit never stopped to pay attention. Tina didn’t catch my eye until one night strictly by accident and at the suggestion of my I Tunes that I caught my first episode of “30Rock” the show Tina created writes produces and stars in. I mean that shit was put me on my ass funny, partially because I love behind the scene shows, and partly because I am not sure anyone is acting on that show. One of her co stars Tracy Morgan has just never been funny to me, but Tina has found a way to write for him which causes him not to have to try to act, just to be and it is hilarious. Yes Tina is currently making headlines playing Sarah Palin but I thought she was a super funny chick long before then.

So Tina Fey, please accept this invitation to the Dinner party of the year. Your opinion, your funny and your quirkiness are more than welcome! “By the hammer of Thor!”
