State of the world today

I think it is very clear to anyone who is not a republican senator that times are tough, but occasionally there is a story that pulls full blast at your heart strings. I read a story today about Edison Junior high school in Massillon, Ohio. It seems the school is looking for someone to fill their 15 dollar an hour janitor position. The school board has received over 700 applications in the week the job posting has been listed. Many of the applicants are people that have been recently laid off.
