I just figured out who Pat Buchanan is, he is the Archie Bunker of political news. “All in the Family” was a unique show that can never be repeated because that time is long gone, but what made the show so great was the honest the head of the Bunker household. Archie Bunker was a everyday blue collar guy that grew up and lived in Queens.
Archie had no problem but honest and extremely non politically correct about how he felt and would often go off on a rant no matter who was there.
As I watched Pat Buchanan today on hardball today I realized as he went on his rant about how the bloody drug war in Mexico was going to lead to US having as many Mexicans living in the here as there. Things that , even if they thought it, no other news politico would say Pat Buchanan readily and easily blurts out. He is politics 1959 living in a 2009 world.
And sometimes he is a meathead…..

You are right on time with this one! I actually got pissed off at him a few months ago for a rant that he had about Blacks needing to feel grateful to white folks. Anyhow, he is the 21st century version of Archie Bunker!
